Kimberly Fleck is the founder and CEO of Brand Fearless — the purpose-driven creative studio she launched in January 2014 with one core mission: social media for social good.

KIMBERLY’S STORY

Kimberly’s creative work is deeply shaped by her long healing journey and her fifteen years as a dedicated special education teacher working with at-risk youth. Leaving the traditional classroom was both an act of necessity and reinvention — a shift that allowed her to pour her experience, empathy, and resilience into new forms of storytelling and advocacy.

Today, she channels that same educator’s heart into her work as a Social Media Engagement Specialist, helping mission-driven brands build trust, spark meaningful conversations, and bring their visions to life through authentic, human-centered content.

 

CREATOR • STRATEGIST • STORYTELLER

A digital creator, strategist, storyteller, published author, educator, and lifelong animal advocate, Kimberly brings empathy and creative strategy to every project. Her background in special education and her two-and-a-half years of podcasting continue to shape her human-centered approach to communication and community building.

Working across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and Bluesky, Kimberly blends engagement strategy with video creation and narrative storytelling to spark conversations that matter. Her content is intentional, human, and always grounded in impact.

Social media for social good isn’t just Brand Fearless’s tagline — it’s Kimberly’s personal philosophy and the heartbeat of everything she creates.

 

BOOKS, WRITING & MEDIA

Kimberly has been a proud member of the Social Media Marketing Society since 2019 and is a professional member of the Cat Writers’ Association. She is a contributing author to Rescued Volume 2: The Healing Stories of Twelve Cats, Through Their Eyes, reflecting her belief in the healing power of stories.

In 2021, she published Wisdom In The Meow with Halo Publishing International — the first in a series featuring her beloved Wu Kitty and Finnegan, her loyal rescue dog and charming sidekick. Illustrated by Jessie Aranda, the book donates a portion of proceeds to Boston’s Forgotten Felines, supporting community and feral cats.

In 2023, the book was translated into Spanish as Sabiduría del MIAU.

Kimberly is currently working on a memoir with Publish Your Purpose in CT. By sharing her personal experience with disability, growth, and resilience, she inspires others on their paths to healing and self-discovery.

• Spiral Up, a collaborative podcast she co-created and co-hosted with Maryann Maisano of The Italian Chicks, featuring uplifting and often funny conversations about life, relationships, and everything under the rainbow

• Zebracorns United, a global initiative uplifting those facing chronic illness

• Be In Wellness speaker series at the Wu Healing Center

• #JustB Tuesday — For over five years, she led a weekly global hashtag day on Snapchat with participants from all over the world, encouraging people everywhere to be well, do good, and fear a little less.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERTISE

Kimberly holds:

• A Master’s Degree in Special Education

• Fifteen years of experience working with at-risk youth

• A Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education

• Minors in History and Women’s Studies

• Graduate coursework in Art Therapy

These experiences give her a deep understanding of human stories and a compassionate approach to communication, advocacy, and creative leadership.

 

ANIMAL ADVOCACY & RESCUE WORK

For almost three decades, Kimberly has been devoted to animal rescue, advocacy, and humane education — commitments that shape her life and her creative mission. She has fostered and cared for abandoned or neglected animals and has taught humane education, bringing compassion and responsible stewardship into both her community work and her storytelling.

Across TikTok, Instagram (@brand_fearless), Bluesky, and Snapchat (@feral20), Kimberly shares her healing journey, plant-based lifestyle, disability experience, creative process, and advocacy work.

Now residing in Massachusetts, she shares her home with Finnegan and a loving family of rescue cats. She welcomes collaborations, conversations, and opportunities to create meaningful change together.
